Snorek App was started in December 2012 and published on Google Play in August 2013. As explained in this link the major difficulty was to develop an algorithm that detected the snores of sleeping people. The project evolved to a business to consumer App available at the Google Play storte from this link.
As part of the Minimum Viable Product a remote Diangostics prototype was developed. It had the basic features, communicating a wearable with a smart phone, pushing this data to the cloud and displaying it in a web frontend. You can watch below the snore detection and the remote frontend web based dashboard in the following video.
SnoreWare got support from the Google Pack worth $20.000. This was used to prototype the remote diagnostics app and to access the paid Google Clouod customer support to solve architecture and deployment questions with Google engineers.
Snoreware was accepted to Google's program, designed for startups across Europe and Israel who are using technology to solve the challenges we face today - whether it's in healthcare, education, news reporting, remote working, finance, wellness, food delivery, or those providing B2B/B2C services.
The evolution of Snorek added graphics for the user to monitor different snore parameters. The product vintage chart evolved from the initial five products to eight, each of them with a Low Cost, and Ads Free and a Full variant.
The App is beeing maintained in its current 24 build variants. The last updated was done in January 2021 and made it avaialble to users with SDK telephones 28 and 29 as per the Google guidelines
Sound of a snoring person. Read more Many were the challenges to identify what is a snore and what is not and be able to count them and warn the user of them.
The eight Snorek App variatns have different Dashboards convined depending on the App. Each of the eight Apps is targeted to a different type of user who needs to access one of some of the features but not all.
Each of the features that can be montitored from the dashboards can be personalised to the user needs. Mostly warnings can be adjusted based on the information that we obtain from the graphics. And this is different for each patient or user.
SnoreWare evolved to eight build variants available in three flavours, all them built from only one Git repository. Snorek can be installed from the Google Play
